Dr. Deepak Desai is a consultant surgeon with over 35 years of experience in Gastrointestinal, Genito urinary and General surgical services. He has done his education from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, B. Y. L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai, HSK Hospital, Weisbaden, Germany and University of Innsbruck, Austria. He has worked with several hospitals like, Hinduja Healthcare Surgical, Mumbai, S L Raheja Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, Mahavir Medical Research Centre, Mumbai.

Dr. Deepak Desai is also a member of renowned institutes like, Association Surgeons India (ASI), Indian Association Surgical Oncology (IASO), Indian Hernia Society (IHS), Society Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgeons India (SELSI), Colon and Rectum Surgeons India (ACRSI).

Mrs. Yasmin, the founder of Hayat, the existence has more than 2 decades of experience. She is a Psychologist (Clinical), Special educator, Career Counsellor and a Graphologist. She started her journey from Masina Hospital, where she set up the psychological department and looked after the Masina Rehabilitation center.  Along with it she worked with Asha Sadan Observational Home and Savera Special School.

Later she moved on to schools like Kangaroo Kids Billabong High-school, Vibgyor High and other international schools to pursue her passion for working with kids. In 2009, she joined Royal College as a professor and later she also got the opportunity to lead an UNICEF/ Plan International project and also became a part of Childline during the same period.

She also worked with MNCs like J.P. Morgan and Nathani Charitable Trust.  At present, she is associated with Wockhardt Hospital while running her own psychological assessment and counselling centre, HAYAT- The existence. Her mission is to create awareness and dust off the taboo revolving around mental health and make psychological services easy to access and affordable to common man.
